REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER CAMP ZOOFARI AT THE HOUSTON ZOO Zoo Day Camp for 4 to 12 Year Olds Runs December 27 - 31

The holidays take a naturally wild turn for children ages 4 to 12 during Winter Camp Zoofari at the Houston Zoo. The fun starts December 27 with 5 single-day camps filled with action-packed, hands-on activities. Winter Camp Zoofari makes a unique holiday gift and provides a fun and educational activity for your curious youngster over the holiday school break.

African Adventure I
Monday, December 27
Journey across the savannah and through the forests of Africa to unearth some of the world’s most fascinating wildlife. Learn about different habitats found on the continent as well as the animals that live there.

African Adventure II
Tuesday, December 28
Don’t miss the exciting continuation of the journey through Africa as we discover more wildlife that call the diverse habitats of this incredible continent home.

Asian Excursion
Wednesday, December 29
Discover the wildlife that resides on the world’s largest continent. Explore the depths of the rainforest and the peaks of snow-covered mountain tops to find some of the most intriguing creatures on earth.

South American Safari
Thursday, December 30
Travel down the Amazon River and climb the Andes Mountains to discover the some of greatest biodiversity on the planet. Home of the largest rainforest, the driest desert, the longest mountain range, and many one-of-a-kind animals.

North American Expedition
Friday, December 31
Meet a variety of native wildlife during this backyard wildlife adventure. From Canada to Mexico, search out the places that make North America and its wildlife unique.

Each Winter Camp Zoofari begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. All camps are for ages 4 to 12; participants will be grouped according to the following age categories: 4-5, 6-7, and 8-12. The cost of Winter Camp Zoofari is $55 per child per day. Camp registrations are accepted on-line only.
