「亞裔德州人」(Asian Texans:Our Histories and Our Lives)編輯唐靄邦開課教授寫作 奧斯丁兩種課程歡迎報名

(08/05/2010)

以下為唐靄邦的課程說明:

Friends, I seek students for my fun and tomfoolerous ACC courses. Here's the pitch:

Isn’t it about time you told your story?

Yes, You.

Tell your story.

Write your poem.

Professor Irwin A. Tang teaches two courses for beginning and experienced writers focusing on writing fiction, true stories and poetry.

Tang is known for his wacky collection of short stories, How I Became a Black Man and Other Metamorphoses. Tang also co-wrote the critically acclaimed memoir, When Invisible Children Sing.

The Round Rock ACC class meets Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:25 to 11:45 a.m. This course, “Intro to Poetry & Prose,” has the unique number 20882. We focus on fiction, memoir, and poetry in this class.

The ACC Rio Grande (downtown) course meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays for only 12 weeks, but the sessions are longer. We'll meet from 1:25 to 3:10 p.m. We will focus on short stories and memoir.

Please register at austincc.edu before August 18! This is the best bargain in Austin -- a college course creative writing forcing you to write your spectacular tales for only 174 dollars!

Plus you get the inside scoop on writing and publishing from the author of five books and numerous radio and magazine works.

That was the hard sell. Call me to get the soft version.

Irwin Tang
